- Can the “third generation” surmount the barriers that separate Germany, Israel, and Palestine?
This play premiered in 2008 as a work in progress and co-production between the Schaubühne in Berlin and the Habima Theatre in Israel. Performed by actors shuttling between the roles they play and their own lives, the much-discussed play focuses on the so-called third generation, who attempt to search for the roots of the problems that exist between Germany, Israel and Palestine. Saitama Next Theatre here produces a new staging for Japanese audiences.
