Satoko Shibata began to perform in Tokyo in 2010 and released her first album, "Satoko Shibata Island", in 2012. While a student she once created a performance that made use of theatrical techniques. She performs these days as an acoustic guitar musician and singer, though she is also active is other areas, such as contributing to the soundtrack of "Boku no yotsuya kaidan" (2012, Theatre Cocoon). In this work she will attempt to create a space in which a narrative is told through "playing telling".
