Jean Michel Bruyère

Director, Film Director, Writer, Photographer, Artist, Graphic Artist

Jean Michel Bruyère founded the international collective LFKS some 20 years ago. Like certain groups of artists in the 1920s (such as La Fabrique de l'Acteur Excentrique en Russie) and the Sixties and Seventies, LFKs designs multidisciplinary creation spaces that uncompromisingly question today's world. These are "living rooms of strangeness", "thinking chambers", "chapels without devotion or punishment" in which the visitors experience singular states of body and consciousness as though they were wrapped in a universe that penetrates them. "La Dispersion du fils" brings together all the films produced by LFKs since 1999 in a single and enormous object: the viscera of a female dog, transformed into a kind of "infinite cynema library".
