Experience Jelinek's landscape in a theatrical exhibition created by a leading visual artist
In 2012, F/T staged the first two of Elfriede Jelinek's remarkable series of responses to the Fukushima and Tohoku disaster, "Kein Licht." and "Epilog?" Now this third text in the series, "Prolog?", will be adapted by artist Tsuyoshi Ozawa, known for his use of pop techniques combined with an astute awareness of social issues. This "exhibition" departs from Jelinek's text to explore the nature of narrating and recording reality from the multiple approaches of visual art, film and installation. This project utilizes a theatre space in a wholly unique way, incorporating the backstage area and fully revising the concept of theatre itself.
