Performing Arts Festival launching from Tokyo
Yudai Kamisato is a director known for mixing elements of pathos and loose everyday-life in displaying the body on stage, bringing forth a unique worldview involving subtlety as well as dynamism. Kamisato's play "Haircut-san" (Mr. Haircut) was nominated for the Kishida Drama Award in 2009. His new work is centering on a cooler that does not have a low-energy function and permanently wastes energy without any compensation. Applying profound humor, Kamisato questions the modes of communication today.
