Cafe Rottenmeier | FESTIVAL/TOKYO Performing Arts Festival launching from Tokyo

Known for her photos and video works, artist Miwa Yanagi is the producer of the "Cafe Rottenmeier", which is open to the public in the weekends and on public holidays. Inspired by Clara's strict housekeeper from "Heidi, Girl of the Alps", all the waiters/dancers of the "Cafe Rottenmeier" are "granny maids"! They have been selected through an open recruitment process seeking people who "see themselves as grannies". The last week they will even perform the "Cafe Rottenmeier" theatre piece directed by Miwa Yanagi herself! Who knows what we are to expect...
