Performing Arts Festival launching from Tokyo
Geumhyung Jeong is a unique dancer, choreographer and interdisciplinary artist now garnering attention from around the world. Based on her own experiences as a woman, this confessional work examines the unusual love Jeong apparently feels for an excavator machine. The performance mixes documentary-style video with narration, ambiguously dissolving the boundary of reality and fiction, and thus accentuating all the more its physical reality, sensuality and humour.
