Seeking for the future of theatre: performance + forum

The results are often worth noticing when university students take dance and drama lessons under the instruction of well-known professional artists. In the "Theater/University" series, students from 4 different universities are invited to present their work at Festival/Tokyo. This will contribute to the discovery of new talents, present ideas and the creative processes. So far theatre companies and small theatres have been responsible for the nurturing of the next generation of artists. How will it contribute to lead the way to the future of theater when the succession of knowledge and skill is based in the universities? What is the product of the meeting between the artists and the students? Through a presentation of the performances and following lectures we will investigate the results and its possibilities.
