A thrilling fable decoding adult relations

This three-hander comes from the pen of David Mamet, the American playwright who has thrilled audiences worldwide with his adept portrayal of human relations in plays like "A Life in the Theatre", which featured the sparring of a veteran actor with a rookie, or "Oleanna", which controversially tackled the subject of sexual harassment. This Japanese première is directed by prolific translator Eriko Ogawa. From the seemingly simple exchanges between Donny, Del, and the child John, tensions and disquiet pore out that gradually expose the true complexities of their relationship.
