Former leader of theater company Skyfish, Ichiro Kojima has moved from Osaka to Tokyo to pursue performing arts. His first production as a theater producer, "The Constitution of Japan" won the Kyoto Arts Center Theatre Arts Award. Through "The Constitution of Japan," which has adopted the exact texts of the Japanese Constitution, and new work "The Basic Suicide Prevention Law," Kojima attempts to have the audience experience the constitution and issues of suicide in current Japanese society.

Born in 1980. Graduated Kinki University Faculty of Literature. Arts and Cultural Studies, Theatre Arts Major. From 2004 he has lead former theater company Skyfish in Osaka. In 2007 he participated in the Kaga Directors Competition, and in 2008 achieved the Young Director's Competition Award hosted by Japan Directors Association. In 2009 he moved his base to Tokyo and has been working individually. His "The Constitution of Japan" which adopts the exact text from the constitution won the 2009 Kyoto Arts Center Theatre Arts Award. He is currently enrolled in the Za- Koenji Public Theater Creation Academy.
