The so-called "double shooting" videos uploaded to YouTube apparently show the victims of snipers in the Syrian Civil War filming the very moment of their own deaths on their phones. Who is the shooter and who is the shot? This film lecture explores how Syrians are recording their images instantly, investigating the link between the act of photographic documentation and death.
