F/T12 Line-Up Announcement Schedule
We previously announced that we would be releasing all the information on the Festival/Tokyo 2012 line-up in late July.
Unfortunately, due to some last-minute adjustments, we have delayed releasing full information on the programs until around mid-August.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause our audiences, members of the media and everyone who has been looking forward to learning about the 2012 festival.

Auditions for greenpig Cast Members
Led by director Yoon Hansol, the Korean theatre unit greenpig will be making its F/T debut as part of the main Festival/Tokyo 2012 program this autumn.
Ahead of performances in November, auditions will be held this August to find local members of the cast. In accordance to the themes of the upcoming production, the director in particular is hoping to find performers with specific memories related to war, school or a place that has been "lost".

F/T12 Emerging Artists Program: Withdrawal of Banana Gakuen Theatre Company
Following the situation caused by Banana Gakuen Theatre Company during their recent performances on May 24-27, 2012, the Festival/Tokyo Executive Committee has received a report from the company and, after a great deal of consideration, has judged that the recent situation runs contrary to the standards required of participatory companies, and has decided on the withdrawal of the participation of the company from the F/T12 Emerging Artists Program.

One of our most popular productions from F/T11,
"Landscape - Tokyo, Ikebukuro", performed by veteran Osaka theatre company Ishinha on top of the Seibu department store in Ikebukuro, has been filmed and will be available for viewing online this month.
