Jeeae Lim
Choreographer, Performer
Jeeae Lim comes from a traditional Korean dance background and has been specializing in contemporary dance. After completing her BA degree, she started working as a main dancer for Seoul Performing Arts Company. In 2004, she joined A-SOON contemporary dance company, and has toured nationally and internationally. Outside of the company, she was involved as a choreographer in diverse independent projects combining various arts forms such as installations, fashion, theatre and musicals. She is currently working towards an MA in choreography Solo/Dance/Authorship (SODA) in Berlin. She performed "Co-lab: Seoul-Berlin" in the Emerging Artist Development program organized by HanPac (Hankuk Performing Art Centre) Korea. It was also selected for the Rising Star program, organized by HanPac in 2012. Additionally, "raw material" has been invited to SPAF (Seoul Performing Art Festival) in October 2012.
